03/03/2008 ***As agreed at last year's AGM the HE Dean Cup will be run as an experiment, this year, as an end of season event. To help in the earlier rounds with travelling after work, the draw was set up to enable ties that are as geographically local as possible***Round One kicks off on Tuesday 1st April. Round Two is on Tuesday 8th April, Round Three on Tuesday 15th April, Quarter Finals on Tuesday 22nd April & Semi Finals on Saturday 26th April. The Final is scheduled for Saturday 3rd May at Bridlington Town's ground. 11/01/2008 Our website adminstrator has now amended the league tables for all the divisions to take into account the change of rule at the EGM i.e. the awarding points for those side who have had opponents call off instead of points deductions and the game being re-scheduled. The results in relation to teams who have folded have also been removed. The tables should now reflect the true status of all the competitions as we start 2008. 28/10/2007 ***Attention to all clubs using the playing fields that are controlled by East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC)*** The League Secretary, Roger Smith, has received an e-mail from Mr R Bishop of ERYC in reference to the amount of litter that is left on the various playing fields after games.***It would appear that in some instances the amount of litter that is being repeatedly left has caused the local residents and their councillors to complain to the ERYC and to the Police.***Indeed the Police have indicated to ERYC that they may begin to attend the playing fields during games and issue on the spot fines to individuals found to be dropping/leaving litter.***We are sure that none of you would like your own playing fields to be left strewn with litter after games. So whether the playing field is one controlled by ERYC, Hull City Council, a village playing field or a private ground we would urge all member clubs to ensure their players and officials take their litter home with them. 28/08/2007 There has been a delay in receiving the League hand books from the printers and the ERCFA County Directories from the ERCFA. Roger Smith is hoping to take receipt of them in the next day or so. The League Committee will be endeavouring to get all the usual handbooks, result cards and raffle tickets distributed as soon as possible. 28/08/2007 Due to an error with the list of teams for Division 2 Howden Amateurs Reserves have yet to be added to the web layout. Once this has been done their fixtures will be added to the website. This may result in changes to other fixtures in Division 2 as there will be thirteen teams in the division. Roger Smith will advise the club secretaries of the affected teams.
